RateMyDiningHalls lets students rate dining hall food anonymously. This page says what we keep and why.

What we collect

• Your school email address, from Google sign-in. We use it only to confirm you're a student at your school.
• Ratings, comments, votes and Talk posts you choose to write.
• Photos of your plate. We re-encode every photo and strip location and camera data before storing it.

How anonymity works

Ratings and posts are stored under a one-way code, not your account. Other students never see your name or email, and public pages show times rounded to the nearest five minutes.

What we don't do

• No ads, no tracking pixels, no selling or sharing data.
• Cookies are used only to keep you signed in.

Services we use

Supabase stores the database and photos. Vercel hosts the site. Google handles sign-in.

Deleting your data

Open the Me tab and choose Delete account. That removes your account, ratings, photos and posts.
